No Latin Mass on JUNE 6th and 13th

I had the opportunity to attend Mass at Annuciation Catholic Church this past Saturday. Father Noone mentioned that due to the absence of a server he will be unable to have the Latin Mass on 6 and 13 June. I am departing the area for a short time and am unable to serve. I was happy to see a young man show up who decided he would learn to serve the Mass. Hopefully, in a short while, this will quell issues such as these.

MASS WILL RESUME ON 20 JUNE 09 on a regular basis.

Diocese told by Vatican to offer Traditional Latin Mass

http://ulstertaig.blogspot.com/2009/03/vatican-bishop-must-provide-latin-mass.html

The above link offers hope for those places where the bishop hinders or fails to support requests for Traditional Latin Masses. I believe, when I get more time, I will begin requesting a Sunday Traditional Latin Mass as per Summorum Pontificum.

Traditional Latin Mass returns to Kiln, MS (28FEB09)

Father Noone resumed the Saturday, 6:00 P.M. Latin Masses at Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln, MS. Apparently, the Church has moved across the street to the former church gymnasium. The Novus Ordo parishioners outgrew the parish and moved into the larger renovated gymnasium which will now be permanent. The current set up makes the offering the Traditional Latin Mass a little ackward, though no more than at most Novus Ordo parishes.
Father Noone stated that he has the intention to continue the Traditional Latin Mass as before, that is, every Saturday at 6:00 P.M.

If you read past entries on this website, you will see that there are still problems that remain in order for a latin Mass community to truely develop in the Diocese of Biloxi. Namely, A sole priest, limited altar servers, Saturday vs. Sunday Mass, and limited attandance.

That said, please continue to pray for Father Noone as he remains the sole priest in the entire state of Mississippi who offers the Latin Mass.

28FEB09 Traditional Latin Mass in Kiln, MS

Received an email today stating that Father Noone will offer the Tridentine Mass at the Annunciation Catholic Church GYM. I assume the renovations are still taking place in the parish. I will assist at this Mass and will post more when I come back.

Encouraging Rumor

As the Traditional Latin Mass situation in Mississippi continues to look bleak, the following rumor would do wonders for the traditional Latin Mass at large:http://rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2009/01/surprise-for-tomorrow.html

This nullification would do well to dispell those false accusations and labels we hear so often. Deo Gratias.
